SASS Ladies Boutique
Beyond the numbers with Rebecca
Join us as we explore the fashionable journey of Rebecca, the owner of SASS Ladies Boutique, in the heart of Rugby.
SASS is an independent, woman-owned, bricks-and-mortar shop, offering a wide range of stylish clothing and accessories, primarily stocking Scandinavian, French and British brands.
Discover how Rebecca’s determination and flare for styling and buying and is driving her business to new heights.
The challenge
When an independent shop grows, so does the list of administrative tasks. While growth brings new opportunities, it can also add complexity behind the scenes. For Rebecca, it led to being overwhelmed with financial admin of bookkeeping, payroll, invoices, and tax returns.
It also meant navigating seasonal fluctuations in sales and managing cash flow and stock levels. Without a background in finance, she needed support that was not only reliable but tailored to suit her business’ needs.
The challenge
For Izzy, it also meant being swamped with financial admin – from bookkeeping and quarterly VAT submissions to monthly payroll and her annual self-assessment. It was simply too much to manage alone, without proper, dedicated support.
Our role
By handling Sass’ accounting tasks, Cottons lifted the burden, empowering Rebecca to do what she does best: styling, visual merchandising, and curating trendsetting collections.
