Accountants for Solicitors
The Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) require that any solicitor or law firm that holds client money has their client accounts audited by an external accountant to ensure compliance with the Solicitors’ Accounts Rules.
At Cottons, we have many years of experience working with Solicitors, both specialist firms and general practices. We understand the unique accounting and taxation needs of the legal profession and have worked with firms as they transition from the traditional sole trader or partnership models to the more protected LLP and company structures.
Who we’ve helped
“At Rollasons, we have been working with Cottons for over a decade. The team provide us with a wide range of services including essential compliance work; accounts, tax returns and payroll. More importantly, they have provided business advice, tax planning for the firm and Partners, with additional business support as needed.
Cottons’ dedicated Solicitor’s Accounts Rules team provide us with a thorough, professional service completing our SRA audits and are always available for any other additional projects.
Cottons have been an invaluable partner to Rollasons as our business has grown over the years and I highly recommend them.”
