Administrator/Receptionist – Rugby

We are expanding our reception and admin team and looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused receptionist/administrator to join us at Cottons.

You will be involved in general reception duties and other administrative tasks required to ensure the smooth running of the office.

The job is varied, interesting, stimulating, and will suit someone who can multi-task with a good ability to prioritise work.

Telephone, email and face-to-face contact with clients, is an essential part of this role, so excellent communication skills are required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome visitors and manage incoming calls; direct to appropriate team members.

  • Handle email correspondence and forward queries to relevant departments.

  • Perform daily admin tasks: data entry, filing, scanning, and maintain client records and databases with accuracy.

  • Support diary and calendar management, prepare meeting documents, and format correspondence.

  • Provide general office support to ensure efficient day-to-day operations

Requirements:

  • Possess effective communication and telephone skills with excellent written and spoken English.
  • Polite, punctual and reliable.
  • Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask.
  • Accurate with a high level of attention to detail.

Candidate Profile:

  • Previous experience in a similar receptionist or admin role is desirable
  • Experience in a professional services or accountancy practice environment is a bonus, but not essential
  • A team player who enjoys supporting others and takes pride in high standards of service
  • Comfortable using office equipment and able to pick up new systems quickly
